Planning: Spooky Shooting

Today, myself, Luke and Indya did a film shoot in Brigg, we used the cemetery and my garden to do some performance shots, we used these as we felt that they were good for trying out different framing techniques and angles. We're trying to get some more performance shots to replace the ones we lost last weekend. However, it was rather spooky shooting in the graveyard!

Planning- target audience feedback

In order to gain target audience feedback, I have put our design ideas on Facebook asking for opinions

Planning: PowToon target Audience video

Planning: Catering for everyone on set

Within our shoot, I made sure that everyone was fed throughout the day. As part of our time schedule, we stopped for a lunch break at 12:30. Myself, my Nanna and my Mum went out and bought the food for everyone- such as J20's and cans of coke. However, we also made food as well for everyone, we made various sandwiches, sausage rolls and enough baking to feed an army! Alongside this, my Mum and Nanna also both have their food hygiene certificates, which meant that all the food was prepared appropriately and carefully.

Planning: Using Snapchat

Throughout the day, myself, Indya our main singer and our extras uploaded images and short clips to Snapchat. We did this as a method of promotion- In a similar way to different film companies. By allowing our audience to view the clips on Snapchat, they were able to view into our production phase, and see what was going on. Hence, this enticed them, as it meant that they could observe what was going on, and would make them want to see the final product,

Planning: Disaster

Today, when we were uploading the footage from my memory card to Final Cut Pro X- a major problem occurred, the memory card reader ejected without us touching it and the files corrupted- which meant that we lost six hours worth of filming in total. At the minute our teachers and technicians are trying their hardest to recover our files.

Planning: Shoot on Saturday 10th October

On Saturday' s shoot, we filmed the bulk of the outside shoots used in our Music Video. On the 10th October, we arranged to film at my Nanna and Grandad's bungalow and bowling green. The reason that we chose this location was that it was big and spacious- and had lots of different aspects which allowed us to create lots of different backgrounds and location to use within the music video.
On the Photo shoot, we arranged for 10 people in total to film our music video, we used Indya as our lead singer, Robbie as the accountant within our music video, and the other 8 people as extras within the music video in various different aspects, such as within a football crowd and at a camping party. The 10 people all wore coordinated casual clothing and eccentric jewellery- we also arranged costume changes for Robbie and Indya. We made sure that the 10 people within our music video arrived at 10:30 and we finished our overall filming at 4:30. We stopped for our lunch break at 12:30, where my Nanna and Mum did lots of baking and cooking- both also have food hygiene certificates which meant that all the food was checked and prepared appropriately. I also gathered lots of props to take with me, including a radio, aspects of bright clothing, magazines, flowers, balloons, bunting, a tent, several camping chairs, a picnic blanket and a jaguar car- in order to create an appropriate mise en scene for our music video.
